Chicken barbecue ready to roll at St. James for July 4
MOLALLA: The St. James annual chicken barbecue will be held July 4, at the church, 301 Frances St., Molalla
The chicken dinner, which includes baked potato, coleslaw, roll, and a dessert will be available from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a to-go booth running from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A half-chicken to go is $9, while a full chicken meal is $15.

Pancake feed will again kick off July 4 events in Canby
CANBY: The annual July 4 Canby Historical Society pancake breakfast will be held July 4, from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at Knight Elementary School in Canby as part of the Canby Independence Day Celebration.
Cost for the breakfast will be $12 for ages 11 and up, $8 for ages 6-10, and free for children ages 5-under.
Giant Street Parade returns for another July 4 run
MOLALLA: Molalla’s annual 4th of July Giant Street Parade will kick off at 9:30 a.m. on July 4. The Molalla Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Molalla will present this annual event.
