Eighteen high school students dived headfirst into the world of journalism last month at The Oregonian/OregonLive’s renowned High School Journalism Institute, held in partnership with Oregon State University. The Oregonian started the summer training program in 1993, hoping to introduce teens from diverse backgrounds and communities to journalism.
