Chemeketa Street NE will be closed in both directions between 12th Street NE and 13th Street NE beginning at 6 p.m. Sunday until 1 p.m. Monday for Union Pacific railroad crossing repairs.
During the 19 hour closure, traffic will be detoured. The closure will include travel lanes, sidewalks and parking spaces near the tracks.
Traffic will be allowed on 12th Street NE with a single-lane closure beginning at 7 p.m.
City officials advised drivers to use caution while traveling, follow signage and watch for workers in the area.
