UPDATE: Northbound lanes on Liberty Road South reopen after crash in south Salem

Northbound lanes on Liberty Road South reopened near Roth’s at 2:45 p.m. after a crash in south Salem on Monday afternoon.

According to Salem Police, the crash happened at Triangle Drive and Liberty Road Southeast. The crash has closed northbound traffic between King Street and Salem Heights Avenue.

The crash involved a white Toyota Camry and a black Toyota forerunner.

The Camry, driven by a 19-year-old woman from Keizer, had flipped over from the crash.

The woman’s parents said she was on her way to work and had just dropped her 15-month-old baby at day care.

The woman was taken to the hospital for her injuries. It was not immediately clear what led to the crash.
