T.J. Harvey Bennett was more than halfway through a 17-month prison sentence when he walked away from a work crew on Monday. The Oregon Department of Corrections said in a statement that Bennett escaped from the work crew around 3 p.m. in Salem at the intersection of Southeast 46th Place and Red Cherry Court.
