$50M into semiconductor CHIPS funding coming to Oregon

PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) – Several million dollars of federal funding is set to go to Oregon’s Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors (CHIPS) industry. On Tuesday, Governor Tina Kotek and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Director Laurie E. Locascio announced up to $50 million to the Oregon company Hewlett-Packard (HP) from the CHIPS and Science Act.
