A 64-year-old Oregon City man died in a two-vehicle collision that closed all lanes of Oregon 18 east of McMinnville for hours on Friday, authorities said Tuesday. Jeffrey Tapp was the passenger in a pickup that was traveling east when it crossed the center lane into oncoming traffic, McMinnville police said, based on witness statements and evidence at the scene. The pickup crashed into a westbound pickup, resulting in Tapp’s death.
