SALEM, Ore. (KATU) – An educator claims the Salem-Keizer School District acted with “indifference” toward multiple incidents of student-involved violence. Lauren Eriksen started work as a Special Education Instructional Assistant at West Salem High School for the 2023-2024 school year. In a new lawsuit filed on Friday in Marion County Circuit Court, she claims that she was hurt in several violent incidents involving students.
