PORTLAND, Ore. ( KOIN ) — Sweden’s Archibald Castell and Canby’s Rachel Peters won the men’s and women’s divisions for the 52nd Portland Marathon Sunday morning.
Castell finished first overall in 2:22:14, while Peters was the first woman to cross the line in 2:48:21.
The full marathon began at 7 a.m. and the half marathon at 7:15 a.m.

For the half-marathon, the overall winner for the men was Noah Rasmussen with a time of 1:05:55.
The overall winner for the women in the half-marathon was Kyla Rose with a time of 1:09:12.
More than 9000 runners took part in the event. The 52nd Portland Marathon had beautiful weather for the entire race.
