Hubbard’s Le Petit Bistro to host exclusive four-course dinner on Oct. 19

Calling all Marion County foodies.

At 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, Le Petit Bistro restaurant will hold the next dinner in its Saturday Night Dinner series.

Le Petit Bistro, located at 3490 Third St. in Hubbard, is an independent coffee shop and bistro owned by couple David and Amy Shultz.

While the café typically serves soups, sandwiches, salads, and in-house baked pastries in the mornings, it has begun offering dinner service one night a month.

“Our Saturday Night Dinners have become highly anticipated among our customers,” said Shultz in the bistros press release. “We just finish up one and they’re already asking us when the next one will be scheduled.”

The Saturday night dinner series consists of a four-course price-fix dinner, which is reservation only. The dinner is $55 per person, and beer and wine are also available for purchase.

The Oct. 19 dinner menu will feature polenta crostini with caramelized onions, balsamic and blue cheese; spinach salad with warm bacon dressing; Carlton Farms smoked pork tenderloin with raspberry chipotle glaze, herb garlic couscous and broccolini with smoked sea salt; and a harvest pear almond tart. Vegetarian options are also available at Saturday night dinners.
