Science is ‘sensational’ during STEAM library program

MOLALLA: Elementary aged students can learn more about their senses and put them to the test during the next S.T.E.A.M. powered fun event, “Sensational Science,” at the Molalla Public Library Tuesday Nov. 12 at 5:30 p.m.

The program is designed to allow parents and children to enjoy hands-on science experiments together.

Caregiving and its toll on families will be explored

WOODBURN: The Salem Health Foundation’s Fall 2024 Community Health Impact speaker series will be at Woodburn’s Senior Estates Golf and Country Club on Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 10 a.m.

Kari Berit, author of “The Unexpected Caregiver,” will be on hand to talk about raising awareness of the toll family caregiving can have on families.

Admission is free, but organizers ask that those interested reserve a seat in advance. Get your free ticket at www.salemhealth.org/caregiver.
