Our journey led us to a charming standalone restaurant nestled within a bustling shopping mall—a delightful find that served up some of the best seafood and more. Getting inside was a bit of an adventure, particularly on a rainy day like the one we experienced. The entrance faces the street, making for a somewhat awkward approach, especially with the temptation of an inviting outdoor dining patio that appears like it should be the entryway. Clearer signage would definitely help, but the moment we stepped in, any lingering inconvenience melted away.

To start, we savored the clam chowder, a heartwarming bowl of creamy goodness that stood out with its rich flavors and tender chunks of clams. It was the perfect antidote to the damp weather, warming us from the inside out and setting a comforting tone for the rest of our meal.

Next, I opted for a wedge salad, which was a feast in itself. This towering wedge of crisp lettuce came adorned with a generous serving of cubed tomatoes, crumbled bleu cheese, crispy bacon, and a rich dressing. It was an impressive portion—large enough to be shared or to serve as a main course. Every bite was a refreshing blend of flavors and textures that prepared me for the star of the show: the rockfish.
