The City of Albany’s planning division is reviewing a site plan for a new chemical manufacturing plant a Corvallis company intends to build at 2435 Ferry St. S.E. Approval of the site plan is up to the city planning staff following a period set aside for public comment. Planner Liz Olmstead told me Wednesday that once the application is deemed complete, the city will notify neighboring property owners within 300 feet of the property lines.
