Oregon stays dry thanks to high pressure ridge

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Our run of dry weather continues Sunday as a ridge of high pressure is parked over the Pacific Northwest keeping all storm systems at bay again. That is also leading to chilly nights and cool days, with high temperatures topping out in the 40s and overnight lows in the 30s for the most part across the Portland metro area.
