A dense fog advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 7:43 p.m. in effect until Thursday at 10 a.m. for Benton County Lowlands, Linn County Lowlands and Lane County Lowlands.
The weather service states, “Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog.”
“Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous,” adds the weather service. “If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. If driving, slow down and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Pedestrians and cyclists should wear bright or reflective clothing to increase the chances of being seen by others in poor visibility conditions.”
