The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office made a crucial step forward in the Wilsonville homicide case involving the unfortunate death of Catherine Grace Cross. On the heels of a months-long investigation, authorities arrested Jason David Perillo, age 51, from Salem, in connection with the crime. Cross, 41, was found deceased in an RV on the last day of 2024. The Sheriff’s Office confirmed the arrest occurred on Friday.
Following the gathering and analysis of surveillance footage and other pertinent evidence, Perillo emerged as a prime suspect. Before the arrest, detectives learned that the suspect and victim were known to each other.
