Man indicted for abusing, raping 3 Salem girls may have more victims, police say

SALEM Ore. (KPTV) – A Salem man was indicted by a grand jury and charged with raping and sexually abusing three girls, according to Salem police. On Wednesday, detectives asked for any additional victims to contact them.

Police said their investigation into 19-year-old Damien Matthew Arellano began in January. On Feb. 20, a Marion County Grand Jury indicted Arellano on two counts of first-degree sex abuse, second-degree unlawful sexual penetration, and second-degree rape.

The three alleged victims all lived in Salem; two were 12 years old when the alleged abuse happened, while the third girl was 17 years old, police said…
