Sheriff: Man shot multiple times in rural Grand Ronde; suspect later turns himself in

YAMHILL COUNTY, Ore. (KPTV) – A man is in custody following a shooting that seriously injured another person in rural Grand Ronde early Thursday morning.

The Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a shooting at a home in the 46000 block of Southwest Lachance Road. The homeowner provided aid to the victim until emergency crews arrived.

The victim, a man from Sheridan, was shot multiple times and taken to a hospital for critical care treatment. The victim’s current condition is not known…
