Multiple coffee stands have been burglarized across Linn and Lane counties the past two weekends, leaving a trail of broken glass, frustrated owners and sympathetic customers who have come to their rescue.

Law enforcement officers across several jurisdictions have been responding to at least a half-dozen coffee drive-thru break-ins as baristas arrive the next morning to find the chaos.

Businesses targeted include coffee kiosks in Albany, Tangent, Brownsville and Harrisburg. In Lane County, a Coburg shop was reportedly burglarized…
