CANBY, Ore. — It may not look like much to passersby, but Parrott Creek in Canby is an important habitat for steelhead trout. Vital waterways like Parrott Creek and many others are marked out in a newly updated map from the Oregon Department of State Lands.
“We’re going to go down down into an area where Parrott Creek comes together with this little unnamed tributary that runs through the property,” said Ali Ryan Hansen, communications director for the Department of State Lands.
