Oregon cities urge property tax reform amid budget crisis

PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — Oregon cities and counties are facing multi-million dollar budget deficits.

Many local governments blame their funding problems on Oregon property tax laws which is their main source of funding, and they’re asking Oregon lawmakers to make some changes.
