SALEM, Ore. — The action of a police officer, who stopped a vehicle with three occupants in north Salem during the early hours of Sunday morning, led to the seizure of drugs, and a firearm.
The incident occurred at 2.30 a.m., when a patrol officer conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle in Silverton Road, near Lana Avenue NE. On closer inspection, the officer found that the driver, Michael Martin Trevino (37), was unlicensed and had an outstanding warrant. Trevino was taken into custody.
