A 13-year-old on an electric bike who was hit and dragged under a pickup truck Friday morning on US 99E in Albany is in stable condition, police said.
The crash happened around 7:10 a.m. at 29th Avenue and Pacific Boulevard, Albany Police Department said in a statement.
The child had failed to obey a traffic control device, or traffic light, police said, and was hit by the driver of a pickup truck. The juvenile was taken to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center. The child’s full-face helmet likely saved their life, police said…
