Sherwood-based Pride Disposal recently unveiled new zero-emission vehicles.
On Tuesday, April 22, the Leichner family, owners of Pride Disposal, unveiled the new vehicles during a ribbon-cutting ceremony that included Sherwood and other local government officials. The hauler has become the first family-owned Washington County garbage and recycling collector to put two fully electric disposal trucks into service.
“These fully electric trucks will primarily service residential households in Washington County. All electric trucks run quieter and have no emissions which helps protect the communities they serve,” Pride officials said in a statement…
