Marion County Woman Convicted Of Assault After Hitting Person With Car

SALEM, Ore. – A Marion County jury has found a 38-year-old woman guilty of intentionally hitting another woman with her vehicle in violation of a court-issued stalking order.

Jessica Lee Pemberton was convicted Wednesday of second-degree assault and violating a court’s stalking protective order in connection with a September 2022 incident. Prosecutors said Pemberton used her car to strike a woman who had an active protective order against her.
