Portions of the Center Street Bridge and Front Street will be closed overnight from May 4 to the morning of May 8 in preparation for next year’s seismic retrofit of the bridge.
The closures will allow the Oregon Department of Transportation to use a “snooper” truck that can extend over the edge and underneath the bridge between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m., to inspect the structure, according to ODOT.
The right lane of northbound Front Street will remain open. Southbound traffic on Front Street will be closed entirely…
