Portland picked up 0.08” of rain yesterday, with slightly higher amounts in Kelso (0.13”) and Salem (0.17”). Rainfall varied along the coast—just 0.05” in Tillamook compared to 0.21” in Astoria. A few locations saw light showers this morning, including parts of the coast and Kelso, but the rest of the region has stayed dry.
We’ll get a break from the rain today, but a cooler and more unstable air mass moves in Saturday and sticks around through Sunday. Expect an on-and-off pattern with scattered showers and sunbreaks both days. You’ll likely get several dry hours in between showers. Rain totals should remain under 0.50″ for most of the I-5 corridor this weekend.
