Molalla City Councilor indicted, accused of theft from middle school parents’ group

MOLALLA, Ore. — A Molalla City Councilor was arraigned on a 24-count indictment Thursday for misusing thousands of dollars in funds from the Molalla River Middle School Parent Action Committee while serving as the group’s treasurer.

Earlier this month, a Clackamas County Grand Jury indicted Rae Lynn Botsford with 11 counts of first-degree theft, 11 counts of aggravated identity theft, one count of identity theft – all felonies – and a misdemeanor charge of falsifying business records.
