PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – The City of Salem plans to investigate the impact of “forever chemicals” at the Salem-Willamette Valley Airport.
Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAs, were found in the soil at a development site at the south end of the property in an area where the Salem Fire Department has done firefighting foam testing.
