LEBANON, Ore. – A 17-year-old Albany boy died after being ejected from a vehicle that missed a corner and crashed into a tree near Lebanon early on Saturday, according to the Linn County Sheriff’s Office.
LCSO officials said they responded at 1 a.m. on June 14 to a reported single-vehicle crash on Middle Ridge Drive. First responders arrived to find a 2021 Chevrolet pickup with four teenage occupants had collided with a tree, authorities said. Sheriff’s officials said that one of the victims, a 17-year-old boy, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene while the others sustained serious injuries. Sheriff Michelle Duncan expressed her condolences to the families affected and emphasized the importance of road safety.
