Bumps in the road as Oregon lawmakers struggle to compromise on a transportation package

SALEM, Ore. (KATU) — As the end of the legislative sessions draws near, Oregon lawmakers are still a ways away from passing a comprehensive transportation funding package.

The Transportation Reinvestment Infrastructure Package (TRIP) was scheduled for a vote on the House Floor on Tuesday, but House leaders returned the bill to committee on Monday morning.
