This year’s Fourth of July festivities will feature fireworks, parades and events in and around Salem.

July 3
Independence Days: The two-day annual event in Independence features family activities, live entertainment, food, a parade, fireworks and more. Wristbands are available for $10, or $5 for residents of Monmouth or Independence. Wristbands are not required for children 6 and younger. Gates open at noon on July 3. Field games and activities, vendors and activities will be on-site through the duration of the festival. Day one activities include a community talent show and duck derby race.
