CORVALLIS, Ore. – Benton County leaders celebrated the completion of the Benton County Crisis Center on June 20 and are inviting the public to attend the facility’s open house on Saturday.
The public is invited to explore the new facility at an open house on June 28 from 9 a.m. to noon. Attendees can visit information stations to learn about the center’s services and meet with partner organizations.
The June 20 ceremony featured Gov. Tina Kotek and Congresswoman Val Hoyle, who participated in the ribbon-cutting ceremony alongside the Board of Commissioners. The Crisis Center, located at 240 NW Fourth Street in Corvallis, will start offering walk-in crisis counseling and mobile crisis dispatch on July 7. Additional services will be phased in over time.
