LEBANON, Ore. – Fire crews and the Linn County Sheriff’s Office responded to a water rescue Thursday evening on the South Santiam River, according to the Lebanon Fire District.
LFD officials said they responded at 9:23 p.m. on July 3 to the 31000 block of 1st Street in Waterloo for a water rescue. A disoriented individual was reported on the river after dark and, following a joint search by firefighters and sheriff’s deputies, was located within about 15 minutes near the park’s upper end, fire officials said.
