The Fourth of July brought some fireworks for Mitch Canham’s program as OSU landed the commitment of Michigan Infield transfer Tyler Inge on Friday.
Inge, a 6-foot 175 pounder out of Brighton (MI) has the ability to play all over the diamond, seeing action at shortstop, third base, left field and right field last year with the Wolverines.
During his lone season with Michigan Inge was a part-time starter, seeing action in 28 games with 17 of them starts. Inge hit .217 with three doubles and 10 RBI for Michigan, while keeping a perfect fielding percentage on 36 opportunities…
