Local brewers Shawn Bayer and Jill Katsis are bringing their new brewery concept to Sherwood this fall.
According to Bayer, construction for BearKat Brewing at 20345 SW Pacific Highway #404 is underway, and they are in the buildout phase. This has been a three-month process, and now the two are getting ready to showcase their beers to the community. As of July 2, the fermentation tanks have been installed.
The brewery will be sourcing ingredients from the nearby Willamette Valley such as grains, hops and fruits. Bayer and Katsis strategically chose the location to be close to Oregon’s wine country…
