The Benton County Sheriff’s Office is accepting applications for its 2025 Citizens’ Academy, the law enforcement agency announced.
The free program is designed to give participants an opportunity to learn more about the day-to-day operations of the sheriff’s office.
The academy begins Sept. 2 and meets for 10 sessions ending Oct. 21. The class will meet each Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. and also on two Saturdays, Sept. 13 and Oct. 4, from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Most classes meet at the sheriff’s office in Corvallis…
