Fourth suspect arrested in Salem McDonald’s shooting incident

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A fourth suspect has been arrested in connection to a shooting at a Salem McDonald’s late last month, authorities said.

According to Salem police, a 17-year-old boy was taken into custody on Friday night at an apartment in the 5900 block of Park Court SE. Officers also seized a handgun.

The incident originally occurred the night of June 30, where officers originally responded to the McDonald’s at 5090 Commercial Street SE on reports of a disturbance.

Upon their arrival, police said they found vehicles connected to the disturbance fleeing the scene. They stopped one vehicle, seizing a 9mm handgun and taking the three occupants into custody…
