Years before women could vote, an Oregon woman became the nation’s–and Oregon’s–first female governor. Kylie Pine and Kaylyn Mabey from the Willamette Heritage Center joined us to share a little of her story and the new exhibit they created to help tell it.
Shelton served as Oregon’s Governor for three days during the transition between the terms of George E. Chamberlain and Frank W.
