Firefighters gain control over Cram Fire in central Oregon, now 73% contained

MADRAS, Ore. (KATU) — Firefighters have gotten the upper hand on the Cram Fire in central Oregon.

On Monday morning, fire officials said the fire is now 73% contained and has burned 95,736 acres.

Firefighters will with mopping up hotspots and patrolling containment lines. Crews will work on the east side of the fire near Grater Butte, focusing on fortifying constructed lines, increasing their width for added assurance…
