EUGENE, Ore. – Student-athletes in the Willamette Valley have an opportunity to receive free sports physicals before the school year begins.
Pacific Sports and Spine, located at 217 Division Avenue in Eugene, is offering free sports physicals for students of any age. This service is available to any student regardless of their location. Their first event was held on July 23 and another will be held August 13.
“It needs to be done and we don’t want that to be the reason kids don’t play sports so we want to try to make it as easy as possible,” said Stephen Peirce, a sports physician with Pacific Sports and Spine. “It’s after hours, it’s free, just bring your kids in we’ll get them taken care of get the forms all filled up that need to be done and you’ll walk out of here with the form in hand and ready to play sports.”…
