CORVALLIS, Ore. – Eastbound traffic and a new path for pedestrians and cyclists are now open on the newly constructed Van Buren Bridge. According to project officials, this marks significant progress in one of Corvallis’s largest construction projects.

The modern Van Buren Bridge, replacing the original 1913 structure, adheres to updated seismic safety standards. It features deep foundation shafts and reinforced concrete piers, designed to endure a major earthquake.
