Cougar sightings continue 1 week after initial spotting

CORVALLIS, Ore. – Thursday marked one week since the first sighting of a cougar in a quiet Corvallis neighborhood and the big cat remains on the loose.

The most recent sighting was on Wednesday, August 6th around 7:30 according to Corvallis Police, along Northwest Estaview Drive in a home’s backyard. By the time police arrived, the cat was gone.
