Yamhill man arrested for animal neglect; 7 dogs seized, 2 puppies found dead

YAMHILL, Ore. (KATU) — The sheriff’s office in Yamhill County arrested a man in rural Yamhill after they seized seven dogs, and found two dead puppies, aged 4 to 5 days, living in “deplorable conditions.”

On Aug. 9, the Yamhill County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at a property on the 14000 block of NW Bear Road in rural Yamhill, when they found evidence of severe animal neglect.

The dogs were found confined in small 6-foot by 6-foot kennels, with floors covered in 8 to 12 inches of compacted feces, hair, and urine…
