CORVALLIS, Ore. (KATU — Oregon State’s new quarterback, Maalik Murphy, is ready to make his mark on the field. Murphy, who joined the team in January, has been working hard to build chemistry with his teammates.
“This is us every day, the blood, sweat, tears, me yelling at somebody, me getting yelled at, and then we go walking in the locker room, we tap up each other and play a game on our phone,” Murphy said. “We would each other the entire day, we eat together. I mean, taking naps in a facility, in the training room together, all this stuff is just this team bonding; at the end of the day this is when cultures made.”
