Handyman Thief Sentenced To 30 Months In Prison

OREGON CITY, OR – A handyman has been sentenced to 30 months in prison for stealing a $44,000 Rolex watch from a Lake Oswego home, where he had worked.

Mickal Ivan Reutov, 34, was sentenced in the Clackamas County Circuit Court during a video conference, while he sat in the Oregon State Penitentiary serving a 26-month sentence for a burglary conviction out of Marion County.

The Lake Oswego theft occurred in May 2024. Prosecutors say the homeowner did not immediately report the theft. Instead, he confronted Reutov, who reportedly did not admit to stealing the watch, but did say he knew who had it and would try to buy it back if the homeowner didn’t contact the police…
