CORVALLIS, Ore. – Benton County is set to review an appeal concerning the expansion of the Coffin Butte Landfill, according to county officials.
According to the Benton County Planning Division, Republic Services filed the appeal after the Planning Commission denied their application, LU-24-027. The appeal includes a request for a 60-day extension, which the County granted. This extends the deadline for the quasi-judicial land use application process to November 26.
