Olympic champion Jade Carey returns to Oregon State as assistant coach

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two-time Olympian Jade Carey is heading back to Corvallis to join the OSU Gymnastics staff as a Student Assistant Coach, the team announced Tuesday.

Carey is coming off a successful collegiate career with the Beavers, as well as being an Olympic member of Team USA. While at OSU, she set program records in event titles (168) and perfect 10s (16).

Oregon State’s head coach, Tanya Chaplin, noted that, “Jade’s experience and passion for excellence are such an asset to our program and I’m excited to have her join our staff. I know she will continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our student-athletes.”…
