ALBANY, Ore. – City of Albany Mayor Alex Johnson II has been awarded the 2025 Mayors Leadership Award for Large Cities by the Oregon Mayors Association (OMA).
According to the OMA, this award recognizes mayors for exceptional leadership and lasting contributions to their communities. Johnson was honored for his role in Albany’s waterfront revitalization, expanded housing options, and strengthened public safety services.
