While summer isn’t over, local farms are preparing for fall festivities with pumpkins planted and apples harvested for upcoming seasonal celebrations.
The 38th annual Bauman’s Harvest Festival, which includes one of the Willamette Valley’s most popular pumpkin patches, kicks off next month with a full lineup of activities. Located in Gervais at Bauman’s Farm & Garden, the festival begins Sept. 20, with events continuing through Oct. 30.
This year, the festival will feature over 30 activities for children of all groups, from mazes and playgrounds to hay rides and a petting zoo. A new weekend-only activity has also been added to this year’s lineup: a children’s climbing ropes course…
